The Colony Texas Travel
The Addison Galleria in Dallas is pet friendly and two pets of any size are welcome in the parking lot of the mall on the corner of Addison and Main Streets in Dallas. With more than 2,000 square meters of retail space and a variety of restaurants and shops, it is definitely animal friendly.
The Candlewood Suites at Dallas Market Center accommodate two pets up to 60 lbs as long as they do not exceed 150 pets per stay. The Colony allows pets in the parking lot of the hotel on the corner of North Main Street in Dallas. Denton's University Drive welcomes two pets of any size, and for an additional fee two pets under 40 lbs are allowed.
Thirsty growlers are also a bringing destination - your - own food, so you can feel free to order your own food at local restaurants nearby. The Aquapark Colony has a swimming pool, paddling pool and water slides, as well as a playground for children. Private luxury cabins are also available to allow families to relax and turn a visit to a Texas water park into a mini vacation. We were in the mood for TexMex, but we didn't want to miss out on Emelia and Angelina, where we can sit on the terrace with a beautiful lake view.
The park offers numerous activities open to the public, including hiking, cycling, swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and much more. For those who just need to get out, the Colony Shoreline Trail offers scenic lake views and a variety of hiking trails to explore.
The colony and the surrounding area offer a variety of opportunities to fill your leisure time with leisure activities. Hidden Cove Park covers 2 hectares of land and offers a range of hiking trails and a wide range of activities for children and adults. While the colony offers breathtaking views of Lewisville Lake and stretches along its eastern shore, it also offers visitors a variety of recreational opportunities, including a local brewery to enjoy. Plan your trip to take advantage of the many outdoor activities in the area, such as hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and much more.

Accommodation and other accommodations cost a little more, but the colony has a wide selection of hotels, restaurants and a variety of other accommodation options. June and August are the second busiest seasons for tourism to the colony, and if dry weather is the right time, then August, September and July. If you are looking for a very warm time to visit the colonies, the hottest months are August and July, then June, except the first week of September.
The area is somewhat temperate compared to tourist destinations around the world, but there is still much to love about the area as you are surrounded by many opportunities to explore nature.
Anyone who can affectionately call themselves a "science freak" will love the abundance of science museums in the colony, such as the Texas Museum of Natural History. Near Frisco, which is only about 10 miles from Colony, there are several museums that focus on science and technology. A short trip to nearby Plano will put you in touch with the University of Texas in Dallas, where you will find a variety of museums as well as a number of restaurants and bars. Infrastructure projects in Colony include a 10-mile stretch between the three cities, including a new airport, a $1.5 billion water treatment plant, and the construction of a major highway network.
The area is gaining attention and traction as one of the best places to feel at home in the state of Texas. The mixed-use center includes Cascades Colony and is home to Austin Ranch, which is located just a few miles east of Colony and adjacent to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to the west. This 100 hectare planned residential, office, retail and office community consists of a mix of residential and office space, as well as a number of restaurants and bars. It is the second largest residential development in Texas and the third largest in North America, with more than 1,000 residential units and 1.5 million square feet of retail space at Austin Ranch.
