The Colony Texas Sports

Football may be my favorite sport in Texas, but the College of Texas Longhorns football team, the Flower Mound Jaguars, will keep you in the stands. Baseball is American pastime, baseball is baseball, football football football and basketball basketball basketball. Let me introduce you to the Longhorn Football Team at College Station, also known as the "Flower Mounds Jaguars."

Even the cheerleaders and drill teams known as Topcats won a national title last year because they were recognized as an active group, not a sports team. They have place-keepers to help them with the equipment that you don't usually see until after the year in college. While all these great sports teams wear the Hebron Hawks mascot, the team I want to pay attention to is the girls' volleyball team because it is one of the best in the country.

The Colony Marching Band performed for the first time in a long time last year and is one of the best marching band teams in the state of Texas. They are the second-best band in Texas, behind the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
